The Fractal Reef
An aerial or underwater interpretation of the devastating effect of climate change of a Barbadian coral reef rendered at maximum fractal complexity. Every surface is alive — branching elkhorn coral, brain coral with its labyrinthine patterns, sea fans oscillating in slow current, parrotfish and angelfish moving through the architecture in jewel colours. The water is so clear the light creates caustic dancing patterns across everything. No human presence. Pure biological abundance.
